Ravindra Jadeja is an Indian all-rounder known for left-arm spin, lower-order batting and exceptional fielding. Across Tests, ODIs, T20Is and franchise cricket, his ability to influence matches in several disciplines has made him a uniquely valuable player.
Jadeja developed through Saurashtra cricket and was part of India’s victorious 2008 Under-19 World Cup squad. His domestic performances, including three first-class triple centuries, established him as an unusually productive all-rounder.
He made his international debut in 2009 and gradually became a central figure in India’s Test side, where accurate left-arm spin, improved batting and elite fielding gave the team exceptional balance.
Jadeja also played decisive roles in limited-overs cricket, including India’s 2013 Champions Trophy campaign and the 2024 T20 World Cup victory. After the 2024 title, he announced his retirement from T20 internationals.
Jadeja was part of India’s title-winning Under-19 team.
He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka.
